I largely went to Art school to get my terminal degree, my undergrad is in Engineering. I did it to have the credentials to be eligible for academic jobs and to give me options as my marriage was crumbling. My practice was pretty secure before then. It was 3 years where I got to be a student and rediscover myself, although the faculty were shocked to hear that I wasn¹t going to use the time to do a Mark-Amerika-at-Brown-like masterpiece like Grammatron. My thesis show was pretty grand; I hope that it can be seen again one day.
