Thanks. sun works, but with sun I can't advance the stream with left and right with cursor keys. It says audio device is stuck. Default is oss where mplayer shows it is playing, I can move back and forth in the stream, but there is no sound, except in the earphones. Only other device shown by -ao help is mpegpes. which doesn't work. Also, with espeak, I do not find an option to change the driver. Mayuresh
