I think I have found the problem. I added a bit of debug code to pkgin and now the error message is: download mismatch: /var/db/pkgin/cache/py27-setuptools-18.2.tgz 414007 70120480 The actual size of the file is 414007 bytes. The file size shown in the summary file is 1528317. This is the output of "pkg_info -Xa" as suggested by the guide. So where does it get 70120480?
