Check fdisk output, make sure that the correct mbr boot
code got installed. There is something called mbr_ext
but I don't know when it is appropriate to use, or if there
is any chance it would work better.
Hope that someone who knows lots more about NetBSD booting
can suggest something more useful to do...
And perhaps (just perhaps) try downloading a NetBSD current
version from the daily builds, and see if that might work better,
perhaps for a DVD boot. On the drive, given how far it is getting,
which NetBSD is there is not likely to make any immediate difference
at all.
