Okay fastly support has reported that the issue was related to the beta. Basically if a file changes but the name does not we *MUST* PURGE that file or this can happen (parts of the files are cache-HIT and other parts are cache-MISS, so mixing them up won't work if the file has changed half-way).
I will try to figure out how to get the build system to do the right thing.
