Is this epiphany in net/epiphany? This is in the 2.x series of epiphany and even 7 years ago 3.3.4 was old. Someone should update this to the newest version. I haven't checked it, but I guess that some dependencies have diverged enough to create this sideeffect. The gnome mirror has version 3.33, released 2019-05-02. Regardless, this sound issue should be looked into. I think logs could help someone who would be doing this.
