You might want to consider checking out OS108 on github (https://github.com/OS108/OS108). I believe they might have a “live CD” you can use to boot NetBSD.

I'm using FreeBSD actually and what is not working is my elantech i2c trackpad. My hardware is: ugen0.1: <0x8086 XHCI root HUB> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=SUPER (5.0Gbps) pwr=SAVE (0mA) ugen0.2: <Microsoft Microsoft Nano Transceiver 1.1> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON (100mA) ugen0.3: <Generic USB2.0-CRW> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=ON (500mA) ugen0.4: <04081-0005530016081003578 USB2.0 VGA UVC WebCam> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=ON (500mA) the rest here https://pastebin.com/z7XLcEEY I hope I can install even -current for better hardware support. My dedicated nvidia graphics is Intel dependent (Optimus tech). I'm not using it right now. Thank you for any help.
