Just for another datapoint, netbsd-9 from 2021-05-15 with i915: glxgears works fine, firefox-88.0.1nb2 built from pkgsrc runs all the webglsamples fine, albeit slowly, and I've done quite a few designs in onshape on this machine. Slow, but tolerable.
