/usr/bin/make is, but /etc/mk.conf is a config file which usualy does not exist at all or has a very few lines. Apparently you have a gigantic local make config file that you do not understand - that is a bad thing. How did you get it? It needs to be fixed to restrict the pkgsrc related settings to pkgsrc invocations of make (or the conditionals fixed to work with undefined variables). Martin
