WELLLL -- I still cannot make emacs. So , I switched graphics card to GTX-1660. It worked fine in NetBSD-10.0RC when I brought up X11. WOW! Why did it find this thing; and why did GTX-1660 word?
As other wierdness, I started MS Windows. But everything was too big; then screen went black and then back on in smaller widgets and better [A-Z][a-z][0-1] keys (lost a word here).
