Hi everyone. I've just released new version of mk-configure.
It is available in pkgsrc (devel/mk-configure).

In short, it is a build system on top of bmake for UNIX-like systems
with capabilities of autoconf and (partially) libbsd/nbcompat.

This release was successfully tested on diverse OSes:
Darwin, Linux/{glibc,musl}, OpenBSD, NetBSD, Solaris-{10,11}.
In the past it was tested on FreeBSD, DragonFlyBSD, Cygwin and Interix.

List of changes is available here:

mk-configure is packaged in almost all Linux distro. So, you can use it
on Linux too using native package system.
