There is a longish thread [1] from 2022 on this topic. Hetzner has not provided 10.1 installer in their stock images. I have requested them for one.
In the meantime I tried booting the 9.2 installer from their stock image and it (still) runs into the same issue of not detecting the disk as described in [1]. Wondering what are my options: 1. Will 10.1 installer talk better with their infra? (I have requested them for 10.1 image.) If not I'll have to request them for an instance with supported chipset, as described in [1]. Not sure if that will be available now. 2. They have a rescue system based installation method. Will that be more suitable or would it work any better, than booting from the installation image?
