Hi, I tried to install NetBSD10 from USB on an older Intel NUC with Celeron N3060 CPU, but a problem in the XHCI driver makes it impossible. Is this a known problem? Is there a workaround?
I boot the NetBSD-installer in UEFI mode from USB and the last dmesg lines look like this: [...] uhub1: device problem, disabling port 1 uhub1: device problem, disabling port 4 xhci0: endpoint 0x0 failed to stop uhub1: device problem, disabling port 5 boot device: <unknown> root device: As all USB ports have been disabled I can neither boot nor enter something on the keyboard. :( I tried "boot -c", but I couldn't even enter "disable xhci*", because there may already be USB-problems at this early stage. Some modified settings in the UEFI BIOS, like disabling USB Legacy Support and USB Portable Device Charging, didn't change anything. Is it a lost cause? -- Frank Wille
