not really,
it seems some process consumes up all mbufs without freeing them later (a bit 
like a memleak).

I assigned huge amounts of (free) RAM and played with mbuf sysctls which 
does‘nt solved the problem - it just widened the time windows to next hang.

Killing procs was not solving the network hang too.
