If you can get into ddb (or crash(8)), please share the output of the following ddb commands: ps ps/w show all tstiles As a quick experiment, you could also try to see if this is a missed wakeup on memory pressure relief by running (from ddb only, not crash(8)): call wakeup(0x10) continue and see if the processes get unstuck.
