In light of suggested process use mailing list. (I'll assume the
original was lost (or maybe too lighthearted), I'll resend and add some
supporting info). I know profiling got some lovin', but to be thorough
and practice this process...
An aside to NetCAT, while creating a maven project, there are a couple
typos you can make in the maven project creation dialog (any maven
project AFAICT), see

One causes the creation to abort with an exception; the other creates a
project with a syntax error. The proposed fix,
https://github.com/apache/netbeans/pull/2053 from over two weeks ago,
adds some additional validations to the dialog; it doesn't change any
actual project creation code.

We seem to have a mix of label and milestone at the moment - there was
a decision to use milestones for this in a thread a while back -
something I didn't support at the time because they're easier to miss,
but I do support only using one of them! ;-)
Yeah, the milestone is subtle. I was overwhelmed by the labels and had
to look three times before I saw it; and that was because I clicked o
the milestones button near the top and the icon started registering in
my conscious.
