Hi all, Today I installed JDK 9 (build 177) and NetBeans Dev 201707050001 on my MackBook with MacOS Sierra. All seems to work fine apart from importing the plugins from NetBeans 8.2. Well, only importing the Dracula L&F plugin cause a problem. The Checkstyle and Gradle plugins seem to work fine although I do see some stack traces that start with
Stacktrace: java.base/java.lang.Thread.getStackTrace(Thread.java:1654) org.netbeans.modules.parsing.impl.indexing.LogContext.create(LogContext.java:130) I am not sure if they are related to these plugins though. Too large log files to browse through... Subversion seems to work just fine. Building my Java 8 projects too, apart from a warning from the JDK (9) that the bootstrap class path has not been set in conjunction with --source 1.8 and this is to expected because it happens on the command line as well. I do see that this issue regarding the Project tab losing focus reported by me still has not been fixed: https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=257067 and I'll assume that this issue regarding wrapping code lines also has not been fixed yet https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=262446 I'll keep on testing this and future builds both of Java 9 and NetBeans Dev. Cheers, Wouter — Cloudless everyday you fall upon my waking eyes inviting and inciting me to rise And through the window in the wall Come streaming in on sunlight wings A million bright ambassadors of morning [Pink Floyd - Echoes]
