Since the last problems I was having with X-Arc I dug about and found
an older version of LhA (I don't have my Netconnect CD with me ATM so
can't use that). I think I've got version 1.71r or something. Anyway
it was before then new coder took over so can't have any of the new
bugs he introduced :)
Problem is I often get 'Unknown Archiver Error' requester when
unpacking an archive downloaded from Aminet. A good example would be
rtgmaster_dev.lha which has just caused the error. I've checked the
archive with LHa in CLi and all is fine. So what could be causing it
now? If I select 'OK' fromthe requester X-Arc continues and the
contents displayed looks right - although I've not checked it file -
for -file.
Explinations or solutions to problem welcome :) Is Frede the coder on
this list?
