Hi all,
I've got a slight problem with my Amiga. Whether its the
Monitor or a chip on the motherboard itself that is causing the
problem, i don't know.
I've got a A1200T (micronik), Blizzard 1230/IV, 32mb ram,3.2GB
3" IDE Quantum Fireball Hard drive, squirrelscsi, 2speed scsi cd-rom
drive, scsi zip drive, 33.6k modem and Microvitec 1402 deltascan
monitor, Canon BJC4200 printer.
The problem:
When using productivity modes, Super72, DBLPal, DBLntsc, and Euro72,
I get red lines from top to bottom of the screen, and approx 1.5cm
wide (not all of these lines are the same distance horizontally. Half
of this distance is off the screen (i.e. I used the monitor's
horizontal adjust control to move the screen image so I could see the
remaining length of these "red lines"). Sometimes all/some of these
lines change to a grey colour, which is not as bad because it isn't so
visible (its just done this now)...
When selecting Pal or NTSC, the lines do not appear. There are
also no weird coloured lines in either, the early startup menu or with
the screen after you select "boot with no startup-sequence".
Its a Microvitec Deltascan 1402 monitor and I've had it since 08/96
(bought it from Gasteiner), and I have had no problems with it since.
Any help very much appreciated.
Matt
