Hi Ronald.
Ah! Barclays .... Some time ago Barclays introduced PC Banking as this
uses PC programs this is of no use to us. Then some months ago I received a
letter from them about Internet Banking, I thought GREAT I can access the
Internet I can use this 'NOT'. I signed up, got the information back, while
waiting for the password I called the help line to find out more. It seems
that they have locked their security to the I/net Explorer and Netscape
browsers and don't want to know about any other (now no one doubts the need
for security on a bank acc.) and they think they are doing well with this
limitation, after all there is only really one computer in the world to these
people, they also tell me that some new inovations to there service will not
even work on the Mac version of Netscape. So what chance do we have? They then
cancelled my application for the service and no password was received. They
did say they that they would consider the Amiga if there were enough call for
it but with the above Mac statement we have more chance of seeing the Queen
nude at Stringfellows.
