I have a similar advantage. My local Yorkshire Cable have an
arrangement with Force9 ISP where they only charge you cable to cable
phone prices, which are roughly half the cost of 0845 prices. The
only downer is that you have to pay subs to Force9 but its only about
5 quid a month and it still works out a lot cheaper. Its saving me a
packet!
And YC are looking into a cable modem service, so hopefully soon that
will be the end of lag on Quake!
