You keep your Friends&Family & Premierline discoutns ect when you move
plus 10% extra discount. There ISP screaming.net is access through an
0845 no. but is entirely unmetered off peak (sorry don`t know about peak
rate,, but probablt the same as BT or 10% cheaper)
But they must be making a loss on this (as a way of getting customers)
since BT have 84% of all originating/terminating calls (local&national)
and charge the interconnect charge at x "per minute" rather than the US
flat-rate charge or x amount for x amount of bandwidth. This filters
down to the consumer in "per minute" charges no matter what telco you
use. LocalTel are the only provider to be granted the "Call&Access"
licence by OFTEL.
Also AOL is testing out 0800 "unmetered access" for 14.99/month ie. no
call charges.
Also C&W are expected to have an announcement with regards to digital
services on the 5th May.

Don`t know yet. I am holding off at the moment, just to see what the
reaction of the other Telco`s are. C&W had announced a 75hours per
month package for 29.99. This must now be dead.
