I think I may have misunderstood, but it could be that you are limited
to how many times you can change your numbers. I know that you're best
friend can only be changed once each time you get your bill
(presumably to avoid hundreds of pages, each with a different BF
number).
Other than that, I can't help.
PS. Why does the automatic service (150?) for changing stuff close at
6pm? Surely there's nothing wrong with leaving a computerised system
running when everyone has gone home :)
