Hi All!
Has anybody managed to convert their BT account to a Localtel account
yet? Although there is a delay on the BT side transfering accounts the
offer of free evening and weekend 0800 internet access sounds tempting!
No extra equipment, dialing codes etc. are needed. The website with all
the info is http://www.screaming.net and click on the localtel logo at
bottom.
If anybody has got a round to connecting is it fast/good? The ISP is
also a free one for others who do no wish to convert their BT account.
It is also mentioned that the offer does no apply to cable users.
Details to set up interface in Genesis and Microdot-II are also given
(not Amiga specific but SMTP, POP3 addresses etc.). Also a CD is
available for PC users.
