Yes and no. A WYSIWYG editor means you can put text on a page, create
a table, forms etc (depending on how advanced the editor is), and it
would write all the html tags you would need. (So, for instance, a
simple case, you want to put two words in boldface: just select the
"bold" icon, you see your changes on the page, but in the text it
saves out, it would say something like <B>your two words </B>, which a
browses would interpret as the two boldface words you want. Some
WYSIWYG editors do write a lot of tags you don't need though, making
your page much larger than it needs to be, that's why I think some
knowledge of html would come in handy, so you could optimise your page
by hand.
