I had a similar problem ages ago. On the advice of someone I took out one of
the commands on the init string that stopped the modem hanging up if your
computer crashes. Only problem was that the Disconnect button did nothing.
Unfortunately I'm blowed if I can remember what the command was.
This might help, anyone else remember exactly what the command is?
