You must have a pretty good phoneline to get the same connection speed
all the time.  However it is likely that the rate will change as you
are online.  You can hear it if you have a phone connected to the same
line as you will hear noises which sound like the connection being
re-negotiated.  At least, that is what I assume the noise is.

This is excellent, I have transfer rates like this quite a bit.
