You need to use AmTerm or some other terminal emulation software. The
docs refer to this under section 4 of the "Comms and AmTerm" chapter,
/ambiguously/ subtitled *"Using AmTerm and a BBS".*
To be honest, I've used a BBS once just to see what was going on and
to make sure things were working O.K. I've never really had the need
to frequent them. I'm probably missing out on something here.
