all right point taken, :) I was not to happy at the time when i wrote my email. I
specifaically
checked the read me's for the "works with netconnect" bit. Now after i downloaded the
1MB executable
and tried my absolute best to get it working I was more than just a little annoyed.
However I do now see where your coming from, but I felt that "us" netconnect users
were kind of
being neglected even though we had supported the whole package rather than a few
items. Olli has
written on the voyager list about the "bug" and i'm quite happy to wait for the next
beta and the
full release of V. :)
Now i try my best not to moan but when people by an internet package, especially as we
did, we
expected it to do "everything", because we had little internet experience etc. In
reality from what
i have experienced it takes a little bit of fine tuning, and that takes a while. After
all the net
is so big and complex i'm amazed it even works at all ;-)
P.S. Can we stop the "V doesnt work with NC2" thread now its really annoying me :)
I've been away
for 4 days and to come back to 250 mails of which half probably concerned that subject
was amusing
to say the least
