Ahh! It's not the same problem I'm having then? So it is just me. :-)
The *empty* e-mails you're talking about, is a function of Microdot which allows
threads to develop when the original message is not, or no longer, in the
database.
For example, you go to a newsgroup and downloaded some messages. Someone has
sent a message called "I hate PC's!", and someone else sent a reply called
"Re: I hate PC's!" When viewed in the message list window, the 2 messages will
be joined together. If you then delete the original message, but leave the
reply, the original message will be replaced with a blank fake root message
thereby retaining the scructure of the thread.
It does look a little strange when the message list window is viewed in any
other order than thread order, but it is a function of MD which there is no way
around afaik.
BTW, if anyone *is* experiencing the same *blank e-mails* phenomenon as myself,
I'd be interested to hear from you, just so I know it's not my settings/sanity.
