And I butted in with:
When you are composing your message i.e. either you pressed the new
message button or hit reply, at the top of the window you will see
three tabs: Text (the one you are typing in), Attachments and PGP &
Specials. Click on the PGP & Specials tab and at the bottom of the
screen you will see a box (second from the right) that says "Copy Self
?" next to it. Click on the tick to remove it. Voila, no more copied
messages.
