I use chunk and dechunk from Aminet, which are DOS programs with versions
that that run on both Amiga and PC, to put files (including zipped
archives) on more than one disc. It seems to be very reliable in putting
the parts back together and I have never had any problem in uncompressing
the result. They are very useful in transferring large files on floppies
from Amiga to PC and back.
