Perhaps you'd care to explain why X-Arc fails to delete temporary "VViewTemp"
files and AFAIK there's no way to stop the cookies file reaching a large
size.
If there *is* a way of doing this from within these programs then it is a
"*very* stupid way of 'cleaning the cache'"
Otherwise it's a partly good idea Malcolm. :)
As for the "uidl-history" file, iirc there is a way to stop this ever-growing
file from being made/used.
