Look in the MUI prefs settings. Your should find an entry for
"TextInput" with the tabs "Style" "Keys" "Misc" "Sample".
(A Quick Way to the MUI Prefs program is by the pull down "Settings"
menu off any MUI Program. You will see an entry called MUI).
If you look under "Misc" then you will see a WordWrap option. Here I
have it "On by Default" and set at 70 Columns.

I think the class settings in MUI Prefs override the settings in MD2.
Here incoming mail isn't word wrapped though. Only if I am typing a
reply to a mail will lines of text end up wrapped. If I am carefull
when typing a reply then they don't get wrapped at all.

Hmm. To be honest I haven't even tried this option yet.
