I tried using both Wingate and SOCKS and Sygate with SOCKS, but, after
messing about with proxies etc, failed to get either system to even
detect an attempt to access from the miggie. My other PC (sigh!)
worked fine with Wingate except when attempting to use the
non Win95 mode. However, the 'server' PC always detected the
'client' PC even if it refused to connect. Not so the miggie.
