Heh. :) This reply is not NC related, but..
I got sick of interlaced screens, so I invested in a nice VGA monitor
(I got an Iiyama Vision Master 350 for �140) and one of those little
flicker fixer scan doubler thingies. It's not as good as a graphics
card, obviously, but I've never looked back. I use a perfectly stable
704x566 PAL-interlace screen, which doesn't flicker because of the FF,
but doesn't suffer the slowdown of DBLPAL.
And I can play old games too... :)
