Apparently, Listar had unsubsribed me without my permission following some
e-mail probs at Free4all. I haven't had any Netconnect post since 12/9/99.
Therefore, now I'm re-subsribed, this is a re-posting of this query. If you've
seen it and/or replied to it already, sincere apologies. If it resulted in any
replies or threads, could someone please bring me upto speed?

As I've mentioned on this list many times already (too many?), my IOBlix serial
card ran very slowly on my rev 1b A1200, compared to the internal serial port.
Chris has now exchanged it for a Hypercom 1 card (Eyetech PortJnr)
First problem I had, was a 40 pin clock port making a 22 pin ribbon connector
require 2 pins to be removed or bent out of the way to facilitate connection.
Nasty. :-\
Connection seems to go ok - 49333 usually. Unfortunately, just like the IOBlix
card, it too doesn't seem to work too well for me. It runs even slower than the
IOBlix did - about 750cps for e-mail/news, and www access so slow, that requests
for a page, results in constant timeouts.
So 2 questions:
Has anyone else got a Hypercom working with a rev 1b A1200, and if so, are there
any special settings that Genesis needs for it to work properly?
Any advise appriciated.
