Exactly what happened to me!!  6 times is total.  It seems to be
something to do with setting it run a file as "WB" instead of CLI. 
The file size gets set to 0, which implies a "write" has been
attempted to the executable.

I suppose that setting the flags for executables to R--- instead of
RWED might help, but Octy should _not_ be trying to kill our nice
files.
