I'm still "playing around" with all the proggies from NC3. I've
downloaded the "working" version of Voyager but...
1). Has anybody else noticed that it does not flush the disk cache?
I have to delete it manually!
2). Also, the password manager is a good
idea but it only stores one field, usually your user name - so what's
the point if it doesn't actually store the password too!!!!
3). There seems to be a big problem with the URL history and
navigation buttons. It doesn't keep a good track of the history and
often just drops a load off the list as though you'd never been there.
The navigation; well, you click to back and sometimes you have to go
forward instead ??!!##@@@
4). Javascript needs MAJOR attention as hardly any JS-using site
seems to work!! If I wanted error messages every 5 minutes I'd have
bought a PC!!!!!!!!!
Overall, it is a good program but a bit of a let down.
5). MicroDot II :- don't know whether anyone has noticed this, but
where has the password requester gone when you select another user
apart from root? Now anyone can read anybody's e-mail. Bit of a
security oversight here... :-(
I can't find where to download Webvision from - evryone says Aminet
but as I've never been there can someone help me out here?
And I can't get AmIRC 3 to work at all. Anyone else having this
problem (ala Voyager & Webvision).
