According to John, there's something good going on and it's
something to do with [netconnect] Octopus window..

Run the Octopus prefs and tick "draggable". It should be
Netconnect3:OctopusPrefs - move it from
Netconnect3:programs/octopus/OctopusPrefs to be able to access it from
the menu.
