I recently started having problems with AmTCP and Voyager (Pre5).
AmTCP does not like logging in unless I have the interface names set to ppp;
ppp1; ppp2; ppp3 etc. I used to be able to have them set to the ICPs name
but no longer - it comes up with a message saying:
note: Cannot find interface Wirenet One: AmiTCP:db/interfaces:3: object not
found
err: iface_getaddr: SICCGIFADDR: Device not configured
note: ppp3 has been put offline
The connect lights on my modem are still lit however so I turn it off and on
again. If I have the interface to ppp1 it works again. Any ideas? I have
reinstalled AmTCP twice now with no luck.
As for Voyager, it is mainly a problem with Egroups (wether this is a
Voyager problem on egroups I dont know) but when using their
http://www.egroups.com adress and viewing the individual letters Voyager
prints all the text over the top of the other text, making it unreadable.
If I use http://pix.egroups.com this problem disapears (leading me to
believe its something in egroups html coding that is at fault), but since
installing Voyager Pre5 I have not been able to submit letters to egroups -
it says there is an error 36, operation in progress.
Can anyone help as I am getting frustrated as WB3.5 has screwed my Opus
settup somewhat as well so all the problems are happening at once :(
