Fed up with the delay every time you REBOOT ?
Got a Squirrel and UMAX scanner from Eyetech? Then read on.
When booting up does the Amiga finish accessing the HD, then give a 10 sec.
delay before it displays WB?
Mine did until I remed the relavent lines of user-startup as below:-
;BEGIN SquirrelSCSI
;SquirrelSCSI >NIL: MOUNT <--this one
;END SquirrelSCSI
;BEGIN SCSIMounter
;Path Workbench:System/SquirrelSCSI/SCSIMounter ADD <--this one too
;END SCSIMounter
Now I get the WB display while it is still booting and only get half the delay when
accessing the scanner, which is a lot less often than I reboot. Every little helps:-)
