Hi all,

Just a little problem which has just cropped up. Last week I installed OS3.5.

I installed NC3 successfully last night. Today I decided to install WebVision 2.2
from Aminet and Voyager prerelease 5
from the Vapor site in order to change them to the working versions. Webvision
installed without a problem. Reading the
docs with voyager, I noticed that some things (I can't remember what) were not
included with the pre-release 5 archive,
but that it said that the ones in the pre-release 4 archive would still work. Since I
also had the pre-release 4
archive, I installed that and then installed re-release 5 over the top. Both seemed
to install without any problem. I
then installed v1.7 Contact Manager just to round things off.

However as soon as I clicked on the Voyager Icon on Octopus, my mouse pointer stopped
resonding and the machine rebooted
without any error messages being displayed.

In addition, when it reloaded Octopus on startup, a Vapor Toolkit Warning message
window informed me that "Workbench
44.2 is not currently supported by this application. You may still run it on your own
risk, but strange effects may occur."

Is this the reason for Voyager crashing? If not, what is? If it is, how do I stop it
happening?

Is there a newer version of the Vapor Toolkit which is OS3.5 friendly?

I also have the problem that Microdot doesn't recognise that the TCP/IP stack
(Genesis) is currently running. Is this
also related to the above?

Help

Thanks
