Dear Friends, I know this has come up before, but it wan't a problem then, and anyway it has been lost on a sick hard drive. This is my problem. I re-installed a new version of NC3 onto a clean partition of a new hard drive, having had it working perfectly (well you know what I mean) on an earlier set up. Now MDII forgets all my old e-mails. A trifle annoying, as I closed down because I was being called to tea, and then when I switched on again my cupboard was bare. They are still tucked away in the data files, so I can get at them, but the entry on the screen says there is nothing.
