Hello,

I know what you're thinking "Oh no, not another person who can't...", well I
can't print in V3. I bet you're all stunned by that aren't you! :) I know
Voyager has never been to good with printing but quite frankly this is
pissing me off no end! :( (Season of Goodwill, huh!) I was hoping that the
new 3.0.50 V3 (the full non public beta pre5) would rectify that, but as per
usual, no. At least it's faster and more stable, and the JavaScript engine
is a lot better too.

I think this must be the same for most but, I go to the print icon on the
toolbar, and I just ok the process. The pointer freezes, but the A1200T
doesn't crash, yet. The process fuel gauge moves a bit (say 25%) and then
we get a guru meditation. (not that 3.0 says that...)

I'm running my Epson Stylus 400 Colour with Turbo Print 6.02, from the
standard printer port, as is almost everything. This is really annoying.
I'm hoping that when I eventually get Workbench 3.5 and Kickstart 3.1 my
Amiga will become a lot more stable, but ATM, it's a piss take! :) It likes
crashing a lot, mind you though, I am driving it very hard, like having to
run about 9 hours each day minimum, and it's an old 1B! Mind you though, in
1969, those BBN IMPs (Honeywell 516s) ran the ARPANet almost 24 hours a day,
7 days a week!!! If only Frank Heart was part of the Commodore's engineering
department.... :)

Any ideas... (apart from giving up!) :)

All The Best, and I hope you all have a great new year, wether it's the
Millennium or not! :)

Kind regards

Nick.

Software suppliers are trying to make their software packages more
'user-friendly'.... Their best approach, so far, has been to take all
the old brochures, and stamp the words, 'user-friendly' on the cover.
