TOTALLY incorrect. The 'Y2K' fixed version of MD-2 was released over the
Xmas period, a time when I was at home (ie. away from any computer) and
preoccupied.
We sorted out a NC2 version of MD-2 within 'days' after the initial problem
was diagnosed.
Of course, NC3 users could simply download the latest Y2K fixed version of
MD-2 over Xmas, so this didn't affect NC3 users (who are in the majority,
luckily).

This was a totally ridiculous situation and this person (the person stating
he would 'go to trading standards' - ironically over the holiday period -
and also ironically when we aren't even trading with NC2 anymore...so why on
earth would trading standards intervene?) did very little to help/ease the
situation.
Chris.
