Nine months? In software terms this is AGES, especially low-cost software!
Hell, I bought Dreamweaver 2 and Fireworks 2, costing over �300, only a few
months ago....now v3 (of both products) have just been released, with the
upgrade costing around �150 for both!
It was �26.95 for the NC 3 upgrade - and this is the Amiga market, where
sales are very very limited - and people complain to us for 'lack of
support'. Bizarre.
I surely think that 9 months is a long time in terms of software, especially
low-cost (ie. under �100). Hell, most PC software is updated every 10
months, on average, and upgrades are normally over �100 each time.
