Unfortunately I think you are right. It seems that to get MD2 v1.4.4
working with NC2 we need some files from the newer version of CManager
which therefore seems to have had the effect of stopping CManager from
working properly (Old prog ver with newer library).
Oh well - I guess that shows NC2 has almost outlived its shelf life.
