Hi,

Please everyone: No flames. Ok?

I have only just got Voyager 3 and am going through the normal stages of
getting it working.

ALL THESE PROBLEMS ARE FROM THE LATEST UPDATE OF VOYAGER I GOT ON 7 FFEB
2000 so please don't say "get the latest copy" to me either.

One thing I did which I probably shouldn't of is install a plugin as quickly
as I did. I have a PPC machine and the plug in starts the PPC part.

I don't so much mind it, but I would prefer to not have it just now.

I think it is the vflash plugin - but I am not sure.

How would I determine the plugin doing it and removing it? I see there is
a vflash_ppc.module.

Anyway that is one problem.

Next question:

Going through the docs (HTML) I am looking through some of the topics I am
immediatly interested, and then I will look at the others.

I went to the e-mail and get an error the prefs12.gif image is NOT found.

I looked in the docs/voyager/images dir and sure enough, it isn't there.

#3:

Mui "problem". In most of my MUI windows, I do NOT have the Prefs button
there. Instead I have the popup button. Then I click on it and scroll to
the settings and get to the prefs that way.

I changed the settings for Vvoyager and it doesn't work.

Could this have a bit to do with the problem I had when installing Voayger.
It said I have MUI 3.3 and I said go ahead anyway as I DO have 3.8?

#4:

(Fair enough background colours are the the owner's choice) But for now I
have been using IBrowse 1.22 and when I go to pages, the background colour
is NOT loaded. Voyager loads it. Oh the white! It is a bit tooooo
bright for me.

What I tried is looked at the source and changed the colour and "applied"
the change. Nothing happened, though if I change text, it changes.

Can I get the program to load images but NOT load the background image? Or
subsequently, how / where do I redefine what the machine thinks white is -
to make it a duller grey or something?

#5:

Settings. Tool bar is the example here. The function the button does. It
is a cycle button, and I have CTM (Cycle to menu) installed and it works
with other programs (both MUI and non-MUI) that if I click on anywhere but
the cycle button, I get a popup list of options. It doesn't work on this
"button". Any reason? It isn't that there are too many options, I just
checked that.

#6:

When in the "using Voyager Menus" section 3.46. General settings. Please
see configuring Voyager.

I click on that link. Error. File not found.
netconnect3:docs/voyager/prefs1.html

#7:

Visited link colour. While reading the documentation, the sub-sections I
have looked at are NOT always shown in the "visited" colour (blue) but show
in the un-visited colour of red.

Hey, sorry it these things have been thrashed out before. As I said, I am
only now learning about it.

Thanks.

Cya!
