Unless you intend to get a graphics card, I would seriously suggest getting one with a 
flicker-fixer.  If you never use it all well and good, but I cant see that being the 
case (laced modes give you Soooo much more room you'll wonder how you ever coped on 
low-res / high-res.)

I originally got an external sc/ff from Eyetech which was great, if you lick a lump 
sticking out from the back of your machine.  I would consider getting the internal one 
which I now have.  Its dead easy to install and will fit a non-towered machine as well 
as a towered one.  It also leaves the monitpr port free if you want to get hold of a 
genlocking device for video grabs or such like.
